Here is a picture of the end result. I bought the container at Walmart for about $20. You don't have to do this, you can just save some empty laundry detergent bottles and store it in those.

Home made laundry detergent!
Yay!!! Today, I made our first HOME MADE laundry detergent!!! I am soooo excited!!! They say the cost averages out to be .01 per load of laundry!! Oh my!! You can't beat that!!! Now I have to let it sit over night and then blend it up tomorrow and put it in the container. You only use 1/2 cup per load. I'm excited to see if it works well.
